Britney made it to the second round of Fuse TV’s Best Video of 2009 Tournament, but it's not over yet! B's "Circus" beat out 3OH!3 during the first round with over 173,000 votes and now she's up against the Black Eyed Peas' "Boom Boom Pow." VOTE so that Brit can Boom Boom POW her way to the top. OK, that was cheesy, even for me. :P Oh, and you can vote as many times as you want! The winning video will be featured on Fuse TV's "Top 40 of 2009" special, airing Saturday, Dec. 12 at 4pm ET. xx♥

The 3-day countdown to the “3” video premiere starts NOW! Here’s the deal: During the next 3 days, Britney will launch her video through a series of Twitter-focused events, culminating with the “3” video “Premiere Tweet” on Day 3 — Friday, Oct. 30. Are you in? Day 1: Photo Release Three never-before-seen photos from the final “3” video will be released via Britney’s official Twitter today — one photo will be sent out every 3 hours. Triple fun that way. Day 2: Video Challenge We will release three 5-second clips of the “3” video starting tomorrow morning — one clip will be sent out every 3 hours via Britney’s Twitter. The clips will be sent out of order and will be available as downloadable .mov files on Britney.com. B fans will be challenged to piece together the three clips to form a 15-second video teaser. Now are you game? Day 3: 3-Day On Friday, Oct. 30, Britney will Tweet the link of the video premiere for your viewing pleasure. Livin’ in sin is the new thing. What do you say? xx♥ BRITannica

I absolutely loved pouring through last year's Britney Halloween costume submissions (check out last year's best here.) As usual, I want moooaaar. Only this year, there's a twist. In order to be featured on the Britney.com homepage, your Britney Halloween costumes MUST be inspired by the Circus era. Whether it's from the "Womanizer" or "If U Seek Amy" videos, a performance from TCSBS Tour or anything else from the past year — I wanna see it. Brit Brit's in the running for a VH1 special titled, "Celebs Gone Good," about superstars who have gone above and beyond this year to make the world a better place. Britney is one of 100 stars you can vote for, and the top 20 will be featured in the special to air Nov. 19 at 8pm ET on VH1. So do what you do best, B fans! While you're at it, help nominate B for two People's Choice Awards by voting at PeoplesChoice.com. Yikes, being a Britney fan is a full-time job...

Britney.com user BritneyMyAngel came up with the cutest idea to help celebrate the upcoming release of The Singles Collection and to commemorate Britney's 10 amazing years on the pop music scene. Every week, now through late November, I'm going to post a Britney.com poll asking you fans to vote for the song on each studio album that SHOULD have been released as a single. I will include bonus tracks and B-sides. Then after we've gone through Britney's six studio albums, we're going to post one last poll listing the top songs you chose. Depending on song popularity, I may list more than one song from each album in the final poll to help us determine The Single That Never Was. Note that this is just for fun; it doesn't mean that the winning song will magically become a new single, as awesome as that might be.
