Britney Spears in association with AEG Live is bringing “The Circus Starring Britney Spears” back to North America. Currently touring Europe, Britney will return to Canada and the U.S. starting August 20, to perform in 20 cities. “The Circus Starring Britney Spears” kicked-off in New Orleans, LA on March 3, “The pop star…pulled out all the stops before a sell-out crowd of 16,400 to launch her much anticipated world tour,” stated Reuters. To date, the Circus is the highest grossing tour of 2009 in North America.
Britney is currently touring Europe to raves reviews. “The Circus starring Britney Spears, the relentlessly high octane and superbly choreographed affair delighted 23,000 assembled fans” claims the UK’s Daily Mail, and The Financial Times stating “…with costume changes, a mini-magic show and blingy bicycles, the presentation was a feast for the eyes.”
“I’m so excited to bring The Circus back to North America. I’ve made some really cool changes to the show that I think my fans are really going to love. I also get to bring the show to some new cities we missed the first time around,” says Britney.Tour dates are:

For the first time in her career Britney Spears will be in touring Australia. Britney Spears in association with Dainty Consolidated Entertainment brings “The Circus Starring Britney Spears” Down Under in November.

With its cast of nearly 50 dancers, magicians, clowns and acrobats and a travelling staff of over 200, the 50 million dollar extravaganza will travel Australia with an unprecedented 60 tons of equipment in 34 trucks for what is sure to be the most electrifying musical event ever.

The Circus Starring Britney Spears 2009 Tour on yksi huikeimmista konserttispektaakkeleista, mitä maailmalla on koskaan nähty! Se on ennen näkemätön yhdistelmä musiikkia, tanssia, taikuutta ja teatteria. Lavalla nähdään mm. yli 50 tanssijaa, taikuria, klovnia ja akrobaattia Spearsiä säestävän orkesterin ja kuoron lisäksi. Kaiken kaikkiaan noin 50 miljoonan dollarin arvoiseksi luokitellun, massiivisen kiertuepaketin mukana liikkuu noin 200 hengen henkilöstön lisäksi yli kolmenkymmenen rekka-auton voimin noin 60 000 kiloa kiertuerekvisiittaa.

WOW, I'm kind of blown away. So "Toxic" has secretly always been my favorite Britney vid, but "Circus" has officially taken over the top spot... for me, anyway! What do you guys think? Everything about this video is sick — the animals (they're real guys, even the lions!), fire, costumes, performers, all of it. Britney, all eyes are definitely on you now, baby. Well done! xx♥

I'ma thinkin' tonight should officially be renamed the BVMA's - the Britney Video Music Awards! Thanks to all of your votes, B took home THREE well deserved Moon Men and it goes without saying that she truly SPARKLED throughout the night. And for all who heard Russell Brand's comment at the end about Brit being the female Christ.... discuss!!!
